I'm back, and just saying that the Superbowl was a great game to watch. Anyway, just saying. I want this to be a longer post but I am tired and am headed to bed. Take care!

Well, another day and I know it is late. Just...I'm still up and decided to post something. Look, I'm posting for no apparent reason just posting something so that I can get some things out. I'm fed-up with rejections and dead-ends. I am NOT going to be a bartender for ever because I am over it. I simply cannot stop until something happens...I know it will: patience, will-power, calmness and dreams. Those are the things that keep me going.

Well, work has been pretty-boringly-easy the last two days, and I am fine with that! Just happy to have a full-time job during these rough times. I guess, it is sad, that I hold a Master's Degree in a useful subject (U of O Public Relations) and am having a lot of trouble finding a position in Portland in that area. The folks who were laid-off with more experience are willing to work for less pay...and are taking the jobs that I should be interviewing for. The world is a rough a place and I seem to be stuck in the middle. Anyway, just have to keep looking and keep my hopes up. It is getting hard to do that though with rejections flying my way and me--I'm losing my way. I work hard to stay on the path in front of me but things go sideways sometimes...just keep going I guess.

So...that BCS Championship Game. Laughable. On a personal note; I messed-up. I should have asked her out, but didn't, because I was afraid she would say no. Now she is with someone, and I missed the chance to take that plunge. My fault, I know, just wish that there had been more time to make it happen. I don't know, I just...don't know. Anyway, advice is good, so if you have any--share!

Well, I had good news a few weeks ago...I had been so exhausted from work that I hadn't posted for a bit. My friends had a baby! His name is Sam and he seems to be the cutest little guy! I am just glad that things worked-out and a new life was brought into this world. Congratulations! I'm just working away, looking for launch-points for my career but still getting things done. Anyway, I hope your New Year is great; I'll post again soon.

Rose Bowl 2012. Go Ducks! An offensive shootout to be sure, Montee Ball running it on us...but in the end--Ducks prevail--LT+DAT=TD. Now that it is 2012, I look back on 2011 and recall all the great memories--Seattle bachelor weekend, BCS Championship (a loss), party at work, visiting with friends and family...my grandma falling but recovering. During this time of the New Year I think to the family that I miss: my grandma, my two grandpas; time flies and one never seems to realize it until something happens; like a new year. Start over this year, do something that you never thought you would; jump out of an airplane, ask that special someone out, take a dive into life; and have no regrets. Welcome to 2012, Let us Play!
